Emmy van der Grinten, Technical Division Manager
Emmy van der Grinten combines her roles as Technical Division Manager and Senior Technical Consultant. She has worked as a KNCV Country Director in Nigeria as well as Regional Coordinator TB in the Mines in South Africa, and also in the capacity as Senior TB Officer and Deputy Project Director for the USAID Challenge TB Project.
Since the beginning of her career Emmy’s areas of focus have been tuberculosis, leprosy and neglected tropical diseases. She has experience in disease prevention and control, specifically programme management, routine surveillance (including GIS mapping), monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, partnership building and general technical assistance. Emmy has lived and worked in Africa for 20 years.
