Degu Dare, Senior Epidemiologist
Degu Jerene Dare is a consultant public health physician currently working as a senior epidemiologist with KNCV. He has a unique combination of proven skills and experiences as Physician-Researcher, Technical Advisor and Project Director, at various organizations including the World Health Organization, Johns Hopkins University and Management Sciences for Health.
In addition to his technical lead roles in several projects within KNCV, Degu supported Uganda and Ethiopia in applying the People-Centered Framework Approach to develop national strategic plans (NSPs). His primary area of support was data consolidation and patient pathway analysis. Degu was also involved in subsequent drafting of the NSPs and facilitated experience sharing with other countries.
